Naples Florida Real Estate

Although the title attributed to it at the  birth of the real estate bankruptcy in 2005, as  "the most overpriced real estate in the country," once again, Naples Florida is Birth to collect the accolades of some of the most respected magazines and newspapers in the world, including the NY Times, Smithsonian Magazine, Coastal Living Magazine, and Forbes Magazine, just to name a few, and it is once again being recognized as one of the top places in the country in which to live and to visit. Just last week, Naples was all 'abuzz' about reported sightings of movie star visitor Nicole Kiddman and her just as famous husband, country song writer Keith Urban. Despite the fact that their presence was being noted by Neapolitan tweets as they strolled by shops and galleries on Fifth Avenue South and dined in restaurants on Third Street South, they were pretty much left alone to enjoy the quiet and peaceful elegance that Naples affords its visitors.

In May, Coastal Living  booklet rated Naples, Fl as the "second happiest seaside town" in America in its website www.coastalliving.com.  Based on Facebook recommendations and other factors like weather and the amount of sunny days, low crime, education of its residents, access to beaches, recreational facilities and a variety of other factors, Naples lives up to its "lively international reputation."  Additionally, Smithsonian  Booklet's May edition named Naples, Florida as the Ninth Best Small Town in America because of its weather, world class arts, community theatre and zoo.  Noteworthy because it provides its visitors year 'round with the kind of weather to walk around in several downtown restaurant and gallery districts, a healthy environment and beautiful beaches, Naples consistently ranks in top ten lists.

In  an article posted in February 2012 CNBC ranked the cities with the most dramatically recovered housing. Year over year statistics from the last quarter of 2011 and the last quarter of 2010 measuring median price appreciation, median time on market, reduction of inventory and unemployment rates were used to make those determinations. In addition, Realtor.com cited input from real estate agents who noted the turnaround in their markets.  In its survey CNBC noted that Naples Florida Real Estate had turned around the such an extent that it rated Naples as having the 7th greatest "turnaround" city in the country with a year over year median price appreciation of 13.38%, a decrease  in the median age of  inventory of -13.64% and an increase  in year over year median List Price appreciaton of 13.38%.

Having been on numerous budgetary and land sites as an overpriced spot to buy a property, Naples is all the more as of late climbing from the reputation of being "overpriced" to being on just about everyone's main ten schedule.
